MCR Music Rooms

No parking and had to carry our gear up 3 flights of stairs with no lighting so not exactly safe. Rehearsal rooms were fair enough, but backline kit is something to be desired and you could tell things have been done on a budget. If you're local and travel light, it could be more convenient than other rehearsal spaces. But if you're a band with alot of gear and need he loading space and easy (and safe) access to your rehearsal space, then try somewhere else.

Bit of a kerfuffle. Awkward for parking. Had to unload then park 3/4 mile away. Given the wrong room on arrival, only to find out when another band turned up to use the room we were shown to. This was after we had set up and were ready to go. This meant we had to disassemble and reassemble all of our kit, eating into the rehearsal time we paid for. Furthermore, only one speaker available on the PA system. Come on guys, should be better than this.

Great affordable practice space in town with amazing equipment, highly recommended

UPDATE After an initial poor experience, they went above expectations to make up for it. Really well handled. Booking made and received an email confirmation. Sent a text 90 minutes before to confirm - no response. Arrived and paid £6 for parking. Knocked on the door, called 5 times and after 30 minutes gave up. Very poor service.

Good venue, unique.

Hired the music rooms a couple of times this year, really good space and reasonable rates too.
