Music Studio Finder is an online directory and enquiry-referral service. We help users discover music studios and contact relevant studio providers.
3. We are not the studio or booking provider
Unless we expressly state otherwise:
We do not own, operate or manage the studios listed We do not provide recording, rehearsal, production or studio services We do not accept payments or deposits on behalf of studios We do not confirm studio availability We are not a party to any booking contract between a user and a studio We do not act as an agent for a studio or customer We do not guarantee that a studio will respond to an enquiry
A booking contract is formed directly between you and the relevant studio. The studio is responsible for its prices, availability, facilities, personnel, accessibility, payments, refunds, cancellations and services.
4. Using studio listings
Studio listings are provided for general information and discovery purposes.
We take reasonable steps to maintain useful and accurate information, but studio details can change without notice. You must confirm important information directly with the studio before booking, including:
Current prices and additional charges Availability Equipment and facilities Engineer or producer availability Accessibility Age restrictions Location and parking Deposits and payment terms Cancellation and refund rules Insurance requirements Health and safety arrangements
Photographs may not show the studio’s current appearance, equipment or condition.
5. Enquiry referrals
When you submit an enquiry, you authorise us to:
Review the information provided Contact you about your request Forward the enquiry to one or more relevant studios Allow those studios to contact you directly
Sending an enquiry does not create a confirmed booking or guarantee a response, price or availability.
You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details and enquiry information are accurate.
6. Bookings, payments and cancellations
All bookings, deposits and payments must be agreed directly with the studio.
Before paying, you should obtain written confirmation of:
The studio name and address The date and duration of the booking The services and facilities included The complete price, including unavoidable fees and taxes Deposit requirements Cancellation and rescheduling terms Refund eligibility
Any cancellation, refund, chargeback or service dispute must normally be addressed directly with the studio.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory consumer rights you may have against the studio providing the service.
7. Studio listings
A studio owner or authorised representative may ask us to add, claim, correct or remove a listing.
By submitting listing information, you confirm that:
You are authorised to represent the studio The information is accurate and not misleading Prices and material conditions are clearly disclosed You have permission to provide any photographs, logos or other content The content does not infringe another person’s rights You will notify us when important information changes You will comply with applicable consumer, advertising, equality and data protection laws
We may request evidence of identity, ownership or authority before changing a listing.
8. Featured and promoted listings
Some studios may pay for featured placement, advertising or additional visibility.
Paid placement does not mean that we recommend, endorse, inspect or guarantee that studio. Where required, paid or promoted listings will be identified appropriately.
9. Reviews and user-submitted content
If we allow reviews, ratings, comments, photographs or other submissions, you must ensure that your contribution:
Reflects a genuine experience Is accurate and not misleading Is not submitted in exchange for undisclosed payment or incentives Is not defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or threatening Does not contain confidential or unlawfully obtained information Does not infringe privacy, copyright or other legal rights Does not contain spam, malware or promotional manipulation
We may moderate, reject or remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or applicable law.
We do not guarantee that every review or submission will be published. Studios must not create, purchase, commission or arrange fake or misleading reviews.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
Use the website unlawfully or fraudulently Submit false enquiries Impersonate another person or business Scrape, harvest or systematically copy listings without permission Use automated systems to overload or interfere with the website Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems Introduce malware or harmful code Use information from the website for spam or unsolicited marketing Reproduce or commercially exploit our website content without permission Circumvent security measures Submit content that violates another person’s rights
We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Music Studio Finder owns or licenses the website’s design, branding, layout, software, written content and original directory content.
Studio names, logos, images and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may use the website for personal or internal business research. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, license, scrape or commercially exploit a substantial part of the website without our written permission.
When you submit content to us, you retain ownership but grant Music Studio Finder a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, edit, format and display it for operating, promoting and improving the directory. This licence ends when the content is removed, except where retention is legally required or the content has already been used in published promotional material.

15. Business users
If you use the website for business purposes:
We exclude implied warranties and conditions to the fullest extent permitted by law We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or indirect loss Our total liability arising from your use of the website will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Music Studio Finder during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £100 if you paid us nothing
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

If you submit a studio listing or use the website commercially, you agree to reimburse us for reasonable losses, liabilities and legal costs arising from:

This provision applies only to the extent permitted by law.

18. Changes to these Terms
