Best studio in Edinburgh

Rare community space that has survived Edinburgh's gentrification. Awesome spaces for rehearsals.

The rehearsal space is located off the main road and have walk through an entry where cars can go. It's up some stairs looks like make shift industrial space . I thought Edinburgh had some , shockers as far as rehearsal studios go but this one takes the biscuit. The southern European guy was really unfriendly and seemed to have issues was too busy on the phone to even look up as I was joining a session anyway and the rest of the party had arrived I decided to join the session that had already started , the guy then chassed me down and demanded what I'm doing there in a hostile manner made me feel unwelcome . Like why else would I be going out my way to enter a rehearsal apart from music related. He was really hostile and unhelpful with basic questions to get stuff to work to requirements the room was poky and I would not fancy going in the dark , I'm not sure why it get;s high ratings and when I phoned up prior the same unfriendly man made issues that were voiced in a edgy almost neurotic about phoning from a private number as if that is a bad or underhanded thing and most work phones come up with private number anyway. We have had the right to withhold numbers for decades in this country also I find the reception is left unneatened for long times , unlike other studios where it is easy to find someone on had for further enquires or rehearsal needs . No wonder many are not keen to get bands together the way they used to be .

Great place great staff relaxed atmosphere. Sound equipment excellent. And well priced .us guys love this place.

Great price, great staff, great amps and rooms. Couldn't ask for anything better

Well-appointed, spacious studios with helpful staff. Parking quite limited but it's very close to the train station.
