One of the best rehearsal rooms in Bristol, always accommodating where possible and friendly.

This place was actually buns. I rehearsed here with my band, and when we showed up there was literally no staff at all. The place was freezing cold and we couldn’t find out how to get in, then found out it was through this weird back door that looked super sketchy. Went through, to be greeted with an empty desk with yet again no staff at all in the place, and most of the rehearsal rooms just open, a vending machine with just some quavers and some tango led on its side, toilets with a communal hand towel.. (holy bacteria) but that’s not it. The cymbals on the drums were MOLDY and the microphones were MOLDY and rusty! Gross!!! Not hygienic or safe at all? Also the cymbals on the drums were cracked, could easily cut someone, the drums sounded horrible, and the rooms were dirty and stank of dust. There were old water bottles lying around in our room (room two) and it was so crusty. The piano was out of tune and had no sustain pedal (crazy for a music place?) and the stall for the drums were all broken and really wobbly.. our drummer almost died!!! The paint work was kinda gross too with random scary handprints on the walls and we were the only band at the studio it kinda felt like five nights at Freddie’s (Brunels). The photos listed on the advertisement are deciveing lowkeu, and the reviews don’t do this place justice so thought I must tell the people. Okay that’s a summary but I’ll stop here

Booked studio 1 for a band rehearsal. The studio was really difficult to find, no parking available by the studio, no answer on the telephone number and no response via the email. Also tried to cancel a rehearsal for the followong week with no response from phone, email or website messaging service. The studio was cold, damp, smelly and the equipment was below average with the drum stands unstable, no felts, clutch or washers for cymbal stands, stains on the carpets and no one around to speak with. There are much better options for rehearsal spaces in bristol for cheaper.

We came to Brunel Studios in Bristol on a Virgin Experience Day gift from our son. Neither of us had ever sung in a recording studio before but Raf was so friendly and helpful, and made the whole experience really enjoyable for us. We also learned about the techniques that are used to edit and enhance recordings. A great experience and fantastic fun, thanks Raf!

Emma is great, similar set up a pirate studio with codes for access to rooms. Well equipped.

My band have been rehearsing here for the past 6 months or so and it's become our first choice now as the prices are very reasonable, and cheaper than other practice studios around. The rooms always seem to be in good states when we arrive and equipment mostly working/maintained. We have had a few issues with dodgy amps but these have been sorted quick by the customer service. They are also very good with rescheduling when a band member is ill & unable to make practice. Minor criticisim would be to invest in some more robust equipment but all round we've had very positive experiences here!! 👍👍

Everything you need for rehearsals or recordings. Easy going administrators. Teas and coffees at the small studio kitchen. I really enjoyed my experience at the studio.

Relatively well-equipped and affordable – however room 7 had no dampening at all, with hard brick walls. Not the best acoustics for competing with a drumkit.
