Andy Bell of Glassworks Blast Studios in Newcastle is simply outstanding. From the very first day I visited his studio with my wife, Andy was welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely attentive, even though he was very busy. The studio itself is world-class, beautifully set up, and fully equipped with everything needed for high-quality music production. What makes Andy special is that he goes beyond just the music. He takes time to understand you as a person, your sound, and your musical goals, then uses that understanding to bring out the very best in your work. He carefully walked me through the production process, and the whole experience was professional, inspiring, and enjoyable. The production, mixing, and mastering were exceptional. Andy made sure every detail was right, and when I heard the final master, I was genuinely overjoyed. The sound quality was excellent, polished, and exactly what I hoped for. Myself and my Dad have recorded numerous albums at Blast and the experience has been phenomenal. Andy puts so much effort into each session, each mix and he is able to bring out the absolute best of the song. His ideas and skill in recording / mixing is second to none, and couldn’t recommend him & Blast enough. The professionalism of the final product of the songs is outstanding! Great facility too with crazy good equipment.

First time in a recording studio for a very long time! However, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable and at ease right from the start. State of the art gear and some really helpful encouragement and advice from Andy ensured I felt relaxed and confident to give things a try. The result was three great-sounding tracks mixed and delivered the following day. Fabulous experience and I will definitely be back soon. Thank you guys!

Avoid at all costs. Did a full day of recording, had a great time, then couldn’t get in contact, despite multiple emails, texts and calls, for about a year to get our tracks. Finally managed to get an answer by calling from a different number. As a way of apology was offered another day at 50% price, went in and recorded and had a great time. Haven’t heard back since, despite multiple messages, we recorded in November 24. Can scarcely think of a time I’ve been more disappointed with a service in my life.
