I spent a few hours here with Colin while I worked as a Voice Actor for the audiobook 'Invisible Fiends'. I had a great time and they are very professional. Lovely set up. Lovely people and lovely coffee!

Working with Collin at Behear Audio Studio yesterday was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and professional, setting the perfect tone for a productive session. Collin’s expertise in audio engineering and direction made the entire process seamless—he knew exactly how to bring out the best in my performance and provided great insight into the character work for the book series. The studio itself was top-tier, with excellent equipment and a comfortable setup that made a 2 hour recording session feel like 2 minutes. Collin’s patience, attention to detail, and ability to give clear, constructive feedback made it easy to get into character and deliver my best work. His passion for storytelling and sound design was evident, and it truly elevated the entire experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better session, and I’m looking forward to working together again in the future. visited the studio last week for my first voice over job. I felt Colin got the best out of me and was very patient, and he was even kind enough to give me a lift to the end of the road to get back into York. I was completely at ease and thoroughly enjoyed it Thankyou :)

I had a brilliant time doing my first full-day of recording for the Firestone Fantasy book series by Ella Summers! Colin was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The studio itself is perfectly equipped with space to stand/sit/act as I was recording - and with plenty of bottled water and chocolate for refreshing in between chapters! Colin doesn't just manage the tech side of things but he also used his experience and advice to help me elevate my performance. I'm already looking forward to many more hours in this fantastic space!

Had a blast recording a voice part in "A Litter of Bones" at Behear's little studio near York. I am not used to voice recording but Colin talked me through it all. The novel is gritty but at times comic and the excellent dramatisation had a good range of authentic scottish voices. Good fun to do and I'm proud of the result.
